Many times, Chick-fil-A has been ranked last among the fastest drive-through fast-food restaurants. The restaurants’ drive-throughs are mostly filled to the brim. You’ve got to wait a couple of minutes for your time to come.
As of 2020, the average time they took to serve a drive-through customer was 488.8 seconds. An increment of 165.9 seconds from the previous year. The longest wait in 2021 was 541 seconds.
Ironically, drive-through customers still rate it high. They praise the speed at which their orders are processed. Chick-fil-A also has high accuracy services plus amicable employees. This is why many still go for Chick-fil-A despite it being the slowest.
History Of Removing Favorite Items From The Menu
Chicken Bagel fans could not believe it when they heard that Chick-fil-A would be removing it from their menu. But they sure did pull it in 2021, after 5 years of hesitation. Alongside it was decaf coffee, which, too, left its fans lamenting.
As if that was not enough, they removed the original Chick-n-strips and Grilled cool wrap later in the year. The fans had to adjust their taste to the new Chick-fil-A-n-strips, which are just as tasty. More was removed from their menu.
Although the company had justifiable reasons for these tough decisions, it still hurts to miss your favorite item on the menu.
Their Fries Are Just Not The Best
Let’s get real. You can’t be the best all-around. While praising Chick-fil-A’s Chicken Sandwich, their fries are just not the best option. Not that they suck, it’s just that they are not as crispy and tasty as those of White Castle. No offense, waffle fries’ fans.
The fries from Chick-fil-A cannot stay long before they go bad. Not that we’d like them to start adding too many preservatives in it, but if they find a way to make them stay crispy for longer hours, they’ll be one step closer to perfection.
